Open to Rotaractors of any Rotaract Club of RI District 3233. Entries are judged on Rotaract connection, authenticity, story and impact, creativity, overall impression. Production budget is not a judging criterion.
Every guideline on this page applies to Rotaractors of RI District 3233 entering the Fabular Awards 2026–27 exactly as it applies to Rotarians. Two things differ, and only two.
- Your story must carry a Rotaract connection.
- Your second category is Rotaract Changes Lives, in place of Rotary Changes Lives.
Am I entering Fabula or Fabular?
Rotarians and Rotary Clubs enter Fabula. Rotaractors and Rotaract Clubs of RI District 3233 enter Fabular. Same brief, same dates, same judging, same guidelines — the entry fee, the prize purse and the name of the second category are what differ. Pick your side at the top of the page and every number on it becomes yours.
Do I need my reel ready to register?
No. Register now and film afterwards — the reel is due by 31 October 2026, three weeks after registration closes.
Do I choose my category now?
No. The category is your Topic, and you choose it at the time of submission — when you upload the reel, not when you register.
Do I need a professional crew?
No. A phone is enough. Entries are judged on Rotary connection, authenticity, story and impact, creativity and overall impression — production budget is not a judging criterion.
Who can enter?
Fabula is open to Rotary Clubs and Rotarians across RI Zones 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 — all 46 districts, including Sri Lanka and the Maldives in Zone 5. Fabular is open to Rotaract Clubs and Rotaractors of RI District 3233, and a Rotaract club needs no sponsoring Rotary club to enter.
Can I enter the other track too?
You enter the track you belong to, and within it you may enter one category or both. A Rotarian who mentors a Rotaract club is very welcome to get that club entering Fabular under its own name.
